Friends Events Postponed
Due to the current crisis the BADA Friends events have been postponed for the foreseeable future.
However, once things have improved we will be working hard to re-instate events and bring members a new and vibrant programme to look forward to
Formation of the BADA friends
BADA Friends was formed in 1991 to provide a platform for interested members of the public to support the work of BADA’s Cultural and Educational Trust, and to promote learning and expertise in the fine art and antiques trade.
All our activities are designed to increase Friends’ knowledge and appreciation of fine art and antiques, through an annual programme of private tours, guided walks and inspirational events.

The BADA trust
The BADA Cultural and Educational Trust seeks to support the craftsmen and women helping to preserve the nation’s important items of cultural significance.
This includes sponsorship of full time restoration and conservation courses at West Dean College, and travel awards and fees for students.
The Trust has also assisted with the purchase of objects for national museums and helped to fund publications for key cultural institutions.
Geoffrey Munn MVO (pictured right), former Managing Director of longstanding BADA members Wartski Ltd, accepted the post of Chairman of the Friends of the BADA Trust in November 2016.
Geoffrey outlines the importance of the Trust by saying, “As dealers, we are privileged to live and work with exceptional objects on a daily basis.
“I believe it is our duty, via the work of the BADA Trust, to ensure that those outstanding works of fine art, design and antiques are not only enjoyed by the widest possible audience but also by many generations to come."
