Short & Mason - London. 20th Century mahogany-cased antique barograph.

Very fine quality and unusual early 20th Century faded mahogany-cased barograph; the brass barometer mechanism, signed by the makers, with 8-capsule nickel silver movement and 8-day clock chart-drum with visible platform escapement; the protective hood with fluted columns, overhanging cornice and bevelled glass. Twin compartment, chart drawer to base with elaborate handle.
An early example of this style of barograph – numbered 94.
