A most appealing child's armchair of country and rustic form and construction, having an oak twin curved bar back on tapered channel moulded supports. The arms, in naturalistic shaped yew wood, are above a well grained elm seat, which is screwed down to the underneath of the frame. The whole, standing on channel moulded square legs, is united by stretchers. The whole is joined by visible mortice and tenons, with dowelled and screwed construction. It has an amazing colour and excellent patination.
