Chinese 16th /17th century Ming blue and white bowl made during the reign of the Emperor Wanli at Jingdezhen.  
The bowl is an excellent with bright blue painting and a 6character chop mark to the base.  The outside is painted to show 'flying horses' above a turbulent scene around the top. Below the band are sprays of tree peonies. The flying horse motif is often found on later Kraak ware
The inside is painted with a continual scene of houses, pagodas and flags in a rocky river landscape with cliffs, this is repeated as central roundal to the base.
Below the landscape is a band of flaming wheels above water.
The rim of the bowl is barbed with a blue line below the rim inside and out
