Kangxi Pair of Blue and White Small Bowls.
Chinese early 18th Century Blue and White pair of small bowls made at the kilns at Jingdezhen during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi (1662-1722). The bowls have an apocryphal 6 character mark to the base for an earlier Ming Emperor - Jia Jing. This was not to deceive but to honour and be respectful.
The bowls are delicately painted with the items associated with the scholar and floral Chrysanthemum sprays.
The bowls are finely potted and glazed and are the size of tea bowls.
There are a few condition issues please look at the condition.
