Chinese early 18th Century made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi at the kilns at Jingdezhen.
The plate is painted to the centre with loosely scrolling leafy foliage and lotus flowers.with in a double circle.
The sides are left plain and the thinness of the porcelain means that the underside decoration is picked out like shadows.
The underside is painted to the side with three lotus sprays and to the base a double circle around a six character Cheng H'ua mark.  Although from an earlier reign this was not done to deceive but to honour and is an apocryphal mark
Very good colour and potting
