Chinese Porcelain Large Jardiniere.
Mid-19th Century.
The Chinese porcelain planter or jardiniere has an unglazed interior with a drainage hole. The exterior with a continuous scene of famille rose lotus flowers and leaves in a pond with several cranes wadding below a wide band on the border of blue with blue enamel lappets suspended from an orange band.
Drainage hole in the centre of the base.
Dimensions: 14 1/4 inches diameter x 8 3/4 inches high (internal opening: 12 1/2 inches).
