Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Sauce Tureens, Covers & Stands.
A Pair, Circa 1775.
The pair of Chinese Export porcelain sauce tureens are of a shaped rectangular form and are painted with scattered European-style flowers on the body and the border. Around the rim is a red and gilt double line border with a double loop in each corner. The tureen with rabbit-head handles to each side and the covers with a stem finial.
Dimensions: Overall: 7 1/2 inches wide x 5 3/4 inches x 4 1/2 inches, Tureen: 7 3/8 inches wide x 4 5/8 inches deep x 4 1/2 inches high.
