Chinese Export Porcelain Set of Six Famille Rose Plates.
Circa 1730-35.
The set of six Chinese Export plates have a central reserve in the shape of a palm leaf that is outlined in an overglaze turquoise enamel.
A large floral spring of rose-pink peonies and other flowers lie within the reserve. The border is painted with numerous branches and blossoms of white prunus and brown bamboo; all against a ground of sepia swirls.
