Chinese Export Porcelain Imari Saucer Dish, 
Circa 1770-80.

The Chinese Imari porcelain large dish is painted in underglaze colours of red and blue with gilt highlights.  The central scene depicts to the left a rock outcrop with bamboo plates growing on it and to the right another outcrop with flowering plants.  

The wide border has four panels with similar flowering plants and rockwork with underglaze blue diaper panels between.

Diameter: 10 1/4 inches x 2 inches (26.04cm x 5.08cm).
