Good quality and unusual 19th Century mahogany bow-fronted Stick Barometer, in essentially original condition.
The arched top housing engraved silvered brass register plate, signed by the maker and bearing mercury Fahrenheit thermometer and rack-and-pinion operated vernier.
Glazed cover with unusual turned finials beneath. The bow-fronted trunk veneered in figured Cuban mahogany with original concealed barometer tube terminating behind turned cistern cover.
