Vintage Brooch of Swan in Flight in Gold dated 1963.
A finely made and heavy quality model of a waterbird in flight with the graceful look of a swan. The realistically etched plumage of the bird is shown in 18 carat yellow gold with a white gold neck, under-carriage and wing tips. The eye of the bird is shown by a single sapphire. Signed TAD (probably maker Donohoe) and hallmarked Birmingham with a date of 1963.
