Antique equestrian tie pin in the form of a horseshoe in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold.
The platinum is set with diamonds and the 18 karat gold is set with Burma rubies.
This particular tie pin has a larger horseshoe than is standard and has an unusual “turn key” safety catch.
