Vintage Brooch of Basket Weave Design in 18 Carat Gold & Diamonds, English circa 1960.
An 18 carat yellow gold brooch in the form of a stylised basket with a particularly fine woven design. Wrapped in the basket is a gold sprig with eight brilliant cut diamonds. For stability in wear, it has a double pin fitting. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and although not signed, it is in the style of Pierre Sterlé.
Measures 60mm in height.
