A very attractive hand engraved Victorian silver pannelled tea and coffee service made in London in 1870-73 by William and George Sissons. The set bears the family crest of the original owners to one side and is in good condition throughout. The set is hallmarked on the bases the lids to the tea and coffee pots and on their handles in the correct fashion ( I have displayed it on a tray from 1783 for illustration purposes - I have many trays and salvers in stock ). The coffee pot, sugar and cream were made in 1870-1871 and the teapot must have been bought to match as it bears the date letter for 1873 .A lovely set.
