Victorian burr walnut and silver fitted dressing case by Parkins and Gotto, London.
Inlaid with a mother of pearl plaque engraved with a stag’s head credit and a monogram of the initials ‘GLB’.
The interior fitted with various cut glass bottles and boxes with silver tops, finely engraved with flowers and scroll work and the stag’s head crest.
The lid with a detachable mirror and the base with a silver and velvet lined jewellery compartment which is released by a spring catch.
The drawer inset with a plaque engraved ‘Parkins and Gotto, Oxford St, London’.
