Very rare Chinese export porcelain pair of laying down lapdogs decorated with grey splashes on the biscuit, c. 1770, Qianlong reign, Qing dynasty, length 18 cm, 7½ in. 7-15339 

Literature: Chinese and Japanese Works of Art in the Collection of Her Majesty the Queen, by J. Ayers, 2016 London, vol. 1, p. 321 for a similar pair of lapdogs but mounted with a candlestick, dated second half 18thcentury.

非常少見的中國外銷瓷小狗臥像一對,未施釉的胎上有灰色點綴,約1770年,清乾隆,長18釐米,英吋。

參考文獻:《英女皇收藏中日工藝美術品》,作者J. Ayers2016年倫敦出版,見卷一,第32118 世紀後半葉作的相似哈巴狗塑像一對,後被改為燭臺。
