Pair of Chinese porcelain bowls and covers decorated in opaque enamels from the famille rose (fencai) palette with bamboo, butterflies, “Buddha’s hand” and leaves, base and cover with the Daoguang (1821/1850) mark in zhuanshu in under-glaze cobalt blue (qinghua) and of the period, Qing dynasty ø 10,9 cm, 4 5/8 in; h. 9 cm, 3½ in. Fitted silk box 9.12046.
