THIS FINE EARLY 17TH CENTURY FOUR POSTER BED IS ALMOST ENTIRELY ORIGINAL WHICH IS RARE TO FIND.THE HEADBOARD WITH TWO TOP PANELS INITIALLED AND DATED T.H. 1614. ABOVE THREE CARVED PANELS WITH FLOWER HEADS AND TREFOIL DECORATION, THE CANOPY CARVED AGAIN WITH FLOWER HEADS AND LOZENGE DECORATION. THE FOUR POSTS CARVED WITH DEEP FLUTED COLUMNS AND AGAIN WITH FLOWER HEAD CARVING, THE BASE BOARD WITH THE SAME CARVING.
