A Magnificent Late 15th Century Gothic Oak Chest. Circa 1480.
This great 15th century oak chest has a two-plank lid with original hinges above a front entirely carved with gothic tracery and to the centre it has its original iron lock plate. The wide legs again carved with gothic tracery and leaf and bud circles.
Fantastic colour and patination. Circa 1480.
