A rare set of 12 sterling silver cake/pastry forks made in the Louis Seize pattern in 1913 by Mappin and Webb.The cake forks are fine quality in that they are all silver (no weighting or filling in the handle)and very early for pastry or cake forks .They are initialled discreetly’H’.Louis Seize was an exclusive pattern to Mappin and Webb first made in 1910/II (Design registration mark shown) We also have at this present time a set of fish eaters for sale ( knives and forks made in the same year as the pastry forks)
