An exceptionally rare pottery pearlware figure of a stag with colorful bocage.The bocage type is probably unique to this figure and is one of the rarest forms. Retains the label of dealer Jonathan Horne London.

Current Condition: Antlers/ears and two leaves restored.

Provenance: With Jonathan Horne Kensington Church St London,and then private Collection London England

Literature: page 80 Volume 3 ,Staffordshire Figures 1780-1840 ;author Myrna Schkolne illustrates this figure which maybe unique.
