The Staffordshire underglaze blue and white deep dish is printed with a chinoiserie scene of a pagoda amongst trees and with a zig-zag fence in the foreground with islands offshore with trees and pagoda and a ship with a figure on board.
To the front is a bridge with three stylized figures crossing it. The inner and outer borders with various diaper patterns and scrolls.
