Blue and White Dutch Delft Cress Dish, Tichelaar, Makkum.

The underglaze blue and white Dutch Delft circular cress dish or colander is raised on three small shaped peg-feet below and has a large number of small glazed holes to allow for drainage.
The holes form two sets of patterns. One set encircles the outer edge of the well while the second set form a six-sided star in the centre.
The center with a large painted flowerhead which is surrounded by P.J. Tichelaar (Author) alternating flowering plant and plants.
The wide deep rim with continuous shaped panels with a diaper-ground and large flowerheads.
