Staffordshire pottery large size American Sailor Toby jug with enamel coloured decoration and pearlware glaze.The figure is modelled wearing a blue tunic and sitting on a chest with the inscription DOLLARS. He is holding a large pitcher of frothing ale with the legend "Success to our Wooden Walls" within a heart shaped motif, he is holding a pipe in his left hand.
