Spode Porcelain Dessert Service.

Pattern # 302.

Thirty-Two Pieces.

Circa 1800-1810.

The Spode porcelain dessert service is numbered 302 mostly in gold.  The pattern is very charming and rather unusual.  The centers of each piece are painted with flowering branches.  The branches are purple and yellow and the leaves are similarly painted.  The flowers have a red outline with gilding.  The border has a band of bright green between gold bands and is painted with large red and gold flowerheads with yellow and purple leaves.  

The Thirty-Two piece service consists of the following:  

One Tazza, (12 inches x 8 3/4 inches x 4 1/4 inches high).

Eighteen Dessert plates, (8 inches diameter x 3/4 inches high).

Two sauce tureens, covers, and stands, ( 8 1/2 inches x 6 1/2 inches x 4 inches high).

One Openwork basket and stand, (8 3/4 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches high).

One Openwork Stand, (8 3/4 inches x 7 1/2 inches).

Two kidney-shaped dishes (10 1/2 x 7 inches).

Two square dishes ( 7 3/4 inches x 7 3/4 inches x 1 1/4 inches high).
