A very small George III box seat settle.

Probably Welsh circa 1770, this lovely little settle is in wonderfully patinated pine with ash arms and chamfered edge arm supports and front and back legs.

It has three fielded panels, a lift up seat to the base which provides excellent storage and has a good rake to the back which makes it very comfortable.

It is in lovely untouched condition including retaining the original green paint to the back. It measures 40 inches across the back and is 50 inches high.
