A Charles I oak joint stool.

This Charles joint stool is in lovely untouched "church" condition and has never been stained or waxed. Unusually, the legs have been turned in beech and retain their original toes.

The top has double reeded edges and the rails are channel moulded with scratch and punch carving.

Circa 1635, it measures 19 inches x 11 inches x 22 inches high.
