This circular shape pottery dish has a pie crust edge and is slip decorated with squiggles, dots, dashes, and a central image of a bird. The detailed and delicate decoration is exceptional; the dish is probably Staffordshire and dates to the mid 18th century period.

Current Condition: The dish is in three pieces, which have been museum repaired and stable. The profuse decoration significantly reduces the visual aspect of the repairs on this rare piece.
