A fine Sevres porcelain cabinet cup and saucer, dated 1854. Both items beautifully painted with a band of Spring flowers, against a grey ground. The borders with continuous bands of stylised floral motif in gilt, upon a cobalt blue ground.
Printed factory marks, and date code for 1854 in iron red. Various painted and incised marks to the bases.
Diameter of saucer - 13.5 cm, 5 3/8”.
Height of cup - 7 cm, 2 6/8”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
