Philip Carrol

Established in 1983, Philip Carrol runs a distinctive business specialising in a range of fine ceramics.

He is based in rural North Yorkshire, in the village of Gargrave on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

Philip has been a member of the British Antique Dealers' Association since 2010.


Philip’s stock covers a large range of disciplines including English, Continental and Oriental porcelains.

He also holds a broad range of related works of art, including ivories and bronzes.

His English ceramics include fine porcelains with pieces by Barr, Flight & Barr and Staffordshire pottery.

Philip's Continental ceramics are equally varied, ranging from Meissen to Hochst.

He also carries a comprehensive stock of Oriental items.

Fairs & Services

Philip is a regular exhibitor at many of Britain's major art and antique events.

These include the LAPADA Show, The Chelsea Antiques Fair, The Kensington Ceramics and Glass Fair, and Art & Antiques for Everyone, Birmingham.

He has also previously exhibited at the BADA Fair, Duke of York Square, Chelsea and the Art & Antiques Fairs at Olympia

Philip offers a professional restoration service for ceramics, metalwork and other works of art.

He is also happy to advise on valuations for insurance and probate.
