An exceptionally fine pair of Barr, Flight and Barr Worcester porcelain sauce tureens, and covers, circa 1810.
Both urn form tureens moulded with twin gilt eagle mask handles, holding circular rings, and set upon square pedestal bases. Hand painted in the most luxuriant Imari pattern of flowering plants in an Oriental garden landscape of pavilions and bridges, with exotic birds perched amongst the foliage.
The covers similarly decorated, and surmounted with gilt flamiform finials.

Impressed BFB and Crown marks to the covers.

Height – 18 cm, 7 1/8”.

Width – 17 cm, 6 3/4”.

Depth – 12.2 cm, 4 3/4”.

Condition – Very minor repairs to typical small chips to finials and one beak. Overall excellent condition.
