An interesting early 19th century pear wood invalid spoon, having a bowl off centre, possibly for a left handed person, with a thin right sided edge, as against the left side which is much thicker. The tapered circular handle ends with a central ball incised line knop and a circular flat end. The whole has an excellent colour, as often found with fruitwood items and a good patination.
English Circa 1820.
