19th Century Figurative Fruitwood Shoe Horn.
A sturdy figurative shoe horn of rounded form, having a top carved with a mustached gentleman, with a collar, bow tie and buttons below. The body, with an inset brass plate on the the concave section, has a carved initial 'E' on the reverse above some incised decoration. The whole has a pleasing colour, as often found on fruitwood items and retains a patination.
