19th Century Cherry Wood Butter Print.
An extremely good Victorian cherry wood butter print, depicting a Scottish thistle within a circle and having a finely carved border. The original raised sycamore handle can be separated and has a screw thread. The carving is of extremely high quality and the whole has a good rich colour and excellent patination.
