19th Century Fruitwood Fisherman's Boat Snuff Box.
A most unusual apple wood snuff box carved in the manner of a fisherman's boat, having an angled swivelling lid carved with a fish. The keel is of rounded form and it has a flat angled stern and small protruding bow spit. The whole has a pleasing mellow colour and good patination.
Provenance: from a Welsh private collection.
