19th Century Sycamore Pepperette or Spice Shaker.
A French sycamore pepperette or spice flask in two sections, having a top with five holes that has a screw thread, which is fitted to the base of vertical form with toothed decoration and raised on a short stem, that is sitting on a circular stepped and angled base. The whole has a pale colour and retains patination.
