19th Century Pear Wood Spoon.

An attractive Welsh pear wood spoon, having a shaped flattened end and with strengthening of the stem, often found in spoons from the Caernarfonshire area of North Wales. The whole has a pale honey colour and pleasing patination.

Provenance: from a Welsh private collection.
