A small 19th century Swedish oval bentwood trinket box, having a fitted lid and body of birch wood. The top and sides have pin prick decoration and it is constructed in the usual manner with the shaped overlap banding held in place with cane strapwork. The whole has a natural colour and retains a lightly patinated finish.
