19th Century Large Birch Dug Out Bowl.

An extremely fine large dug out birch bowl, having a carved out handle to the underside opposite a pouring lip, and extensively initialled and inscribed on the base and dated 1825. The bowl can be considered an important example of treen, is in fine condition and retains a patination.
