18th Century Pear Wood Nutcracker.

An interesting 18th century nutcracker in solid pear wood, of two halves when opened that have a circular recess for the nut and protruding turned handles to activate pressure. The whole has an excellent pale colour and patination.

 

English Circa 1760.
