19th Century Birch Bark and Pressed Wood Tea Caddy.

An interesting oval continental tea caddy, comprising of grained bark with decorative pressed wood decoration. The brass hinged lid has a raised rectangular panel depicting a hill side castle with foliage in the foreground. The whole has attractive colouring and retains a patination.
