19th Century Boxwood Lemon Squeezer.
A good quality solid boxwood 19th century two handled lever action lemon squeezer, having two halves that are united by a substantial decorative hinge and opens to reveal an arched ribbed trough for the fruit, while the other blade has a conforming block to squeeze the fruit and there are holes to each side to release the juice. The whole has pleasing pale colour, as often found with boxwood, and retains a good patination.
