An attractive 19th Century Sycamore Bowl, having an interior with many knife marks, showing long term use. At one stage in its history it must have been dropped, as there is a continuous breakage join with the grain from rim to rim, which has been restored now showing a completely even join. The bowl, with double incised line decoration, is raised on a shallow foot. The whole has a lovely pale honey colour and patination.
English Circa 1860.
