A good Scottish ox horn snuff mull, having a silver collar inscribed 'David Williamson' and a hinge supporting the cork lined lid with a silver cartouche initialled D.W. below the silver ornamental hinge. It has a carefully fashioned curled tail, showing the skill of the horner. The whole has a rich colour and fine patination.
