A lovely late 17th century small laburnum oyster veneered William and Mary Period lace box, having a banded lid with a central decoration and the sides with a vertical grain. It is veneered on a pine base in the usual manner, with a later brass lock, catch and key. The whole has an excellent rich colour and patination.
