A well turned mahogany tobacco jar, having a body of baluster form that has bands of boxwood stringing, with a fitted stepped lid surmounted by a tall and shaped ebonised finial, terminating in a small bone acorn. The whole has a pleasing colour and grain, retaining a patination.
