An attractive circular Dutch turned and staved tobacco jar, having alternate vertical bands of birch and mahogany of baluster form. The interior has a separate drop down lid, which fits below a fitted and turned conforming lid, with a tall ebonised shaped finial. The whole has a pleasing colour and patination.
