A rare and exceptionally fine Royal Worcester porcelain tray, painted by Richard Sebright, dated 1908. Hand painted to the centre, with a large, gilt oval panel, contains a study of grapes, peaches, a plum, and cob nuts, on a mossy bank. All upon an underglaze cobalt blue ground, this in turn, decorated with Classical leaf scroll in gilt.

The raised rim of the tray with a continuous moulded scroll motif, heightened with gilding.

Printed and impressed factory marks to the reverse, and date code for 1908.

Depth – 23.5 cm, 9 1/4”.

Height – 2.5 cm, 1”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
