Comprising officer’s epaulettes, cocked hat of standard French plush complete with gold bullion decoration and King’s crown gilt button, white silk lining; epaulettes of gold lace and bullion, the straps bearing silver foil and lace anchors, and King’s crown buttons; all contained in fitted japanned carrying tin bearing the supplier’s label of Gieve Matthews & Seagrove Ltd, London; and Royal Navy officer’s 1846 pattern dress sword by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, etched 80cm blade numbered 42032, the hilt with wire bound shagreen grip and lion head pommel, with black leather scabbard fitted with and gilt brass rings and chape; regulation full dress waist belt with gilt clasp and sword slings and plain black leather undress belt.
